This week promises to be an action packed one, with Qatar National Sports Day falling on February 14 and the Qatar TotalEnergies Open taking place from February 13-18.

Not much of sports fan? Fear not, Qatar also has a number of winter specials in addition to exciting events and workshops taking place this week. Here is a fun-filled list of events to expect this week in Qatar.

Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2023

The Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2023, promises to be a star studded one with nine out of the world’s top ten players confirmed to participate in the tournament. The Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2023 is the 21^st edition of the tournament and has gained popularity as a highly anticipated sporting event in the Qatar calendar.

Paris Saint Germain 5five-a-side games

For Sports Day this year, the Paris Saint Germain Academy in Qatar will be hosting the 5five-a-side games throughout the day from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Pre-registration is required and participants have to be over 16 years to play.

John Legend live in Qatar

Expect a mesmerizing evening as popular American artist John Legend performs some of your favorite hits live in Qatar on February 17 at the Katara Amphitheater.

Halal Qatar Festival

The 11^th edition of the annual Halal Qatar Festival will take place from February 16-24 at the Southern Area in Katara Cultural Village. The annual festival is being held to revive the Qatari heritage and highlight the importance of supporting the national livestock.

Art Factory

This is the last week to take your kids to Hyatt Plaza’s Art Factory where they can tap into their creativity and discover their talents in planting, art and building robots.

Spend QAR 25 in any of Hyatt Plaza’s retail outlets and exchange your bills for an “access wristband” to Art Factory Workshop from the counter at Gate 2.
