QRS Summer Sizzler

The QRS Summer Sizzler challenge is the one for racers and runners. Challenge yourself to these timed races spanning from 5-min to 20-min time limits and run unlimited loops around the park. Held at air-conditioned venues of Al Gharafa Park and Umm Al Seneem Park, this event is sure to witness some of the best racers in the city participate to win the title. Multiple race event are open with categories of different age groups: mini kids (ages 3-6), juniors (ages 7-16), Open (ages 17-39), and Masters (ages 40+).

F1 Roundup -- Lusail Circuit

The F1 Roundup is an exciting event series hosted by Lusail Circuit in anticipation of the upcoming Formula One® Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2023. The F1 Roundup is an engaging and fun way for everyone including families to familiarize themselves with the event. Expect to find an F1 stimulator, photo booths, VR games, racing games, and more to thoroughly engage your attention. This week, the event is hosted by Place Vendome Mall and will move to another location next week.

Persian floral design – workshop

Museum of Islamic Art is hosting a Persian floral design workshop that gives participants an introductory class on engaging with Islamic arts and in particular, Persian florals. The mode of instruction is Arabic and Hindi and this could be a fun event to indulge your artistic skills and learn about Persian florals.

Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition

Also known as ‘S’hail’, the seventh edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition is scheduled to happen this week in Katara. Through this rich, cultural exhibition, S’hail aims to preserve the legacy of hunting and falconry. At the exhibition, you get to view the various stalls selling weapons, supplies, falcons and associated products and services along with the awareness about the field of hunting and falconry.

Aameghessib’s Back-2-Back Qualifiers 2023

AA Meghassib is one of the top FIFA players in the Middle East and his Back-2-Back Qualifiers is a great place to join in on the FIFA madness. The qualifiers will give gamers an opportunity to form teams and battle it out in the qualifier rounds until the National Final set to happen next week. Register online.

Masterpieces of Furniture Design exhibition

Qatar Museums has partnered with Vitra Design Museum to present the “Masterpieces of Furniture Design” exhibition that features more than 50 iconic pieces spanning 200 years of design. Design enthusiasts are certainly going to enjoy this insightful walk through the exhibits that include original works by leading designers like Alvar Alto, Virgil Abloh, Le Corbusier, and more.
