Future International Football Academy hosted several families in Qatar for a day of fun and physical activities at the German International School last Saturday in partnership with Qatar Living.

Children were invited to join in some of the football drills and mini tournaments organized by the coaches from the academy, while parents socialized and enjoyed some activities and games too.

The aim of the event was to encourage kids and parents to participate in more physical activities and help embrace a healthier lifestyle in Qatar on the occasion Qatar Living's 10th anniversary celebration.

"With the FIFA 2022 World Cup just a few years away, we wanted to actively encourage the community to be more involved in physical activities and sports. We want to do our bit in supporting Qatar's vision by helping organize this event with Future Football Academy," said Bilal Randeree, Managing Director of Qatar Living.

Qatar Living is the main sponsor of Future International Footbal Academy, a football training centre for the development of children from the age of 3 up to 16 years in Doha.

"This is the first community event we are organizing in partnership with Qatar Living and it's great to see so many families come out and enjoy all the sports and activities we have here. This would not have been possible without the help of the German International School and we really appreciate their support," said Simon Jennings, Director of Coaching, Future International Football Academy.

Qatar Living also invited a few Qatar-based startup companies that shared the same goal of promoting a healthier lifestyle in Qatar.

Crunch Doha, Raw Middle East, IAID Academy, Dana Lange Yoga, Lavazza, Monte's and Qatar University students promoting their #it_pays health campaign were among those who partnered for the event.

A cake was specially baked for the occasion by Beracah Cakes & Bakes.

Parents and kids got the opportunity to get involved in some physical activities like zumba and yoga.

The event concluded with an entertaining giveaway session that was open to kids and parents followed by a special cake-cutting ceremony to mark the end of Qatar Living's 10th anniversary celebration with the community.
