Since the launch of online ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup Qatar - there has been a huge demand of more than 1.2 million ticket requests from fans around the world. These numbers were recorded within 24 hours and during the first sales period.

The statistics display that most fans came from Qatar, followed by Argentina, Mexico, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, England, India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and France.

Also, there have been more than 140,000 ticket requests for the final match on 18 December and more than 80,000 for the opening match on 21 November.

FIFA is the only official and legitimate website to apply for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tickets.

The first sales period starts today at 1 p.m. Doha time and finishes on 8 February 2022 at 1 p.m. Doha time. It is important to note that fans can submit ticket applications throughout the first sales period, as all tickets are to be allocated after the first sales period finishes.

If the number of tickets applied exceeds the available ticket inventory for the domestic or international market, the tickets will be distributed using a random selection draw process.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications, whether successful, partially successful, or unsuccessful by Tuesday, 8 March 2022, with instructions and the deadline to pay for allocated tickets.
