The Al Maha Island, featuring the Lusail Winter Wonderland and several classy restaurants, was one of the new facilities constructed for fans as part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The island proved to be a big crowd-puller even after the end of the mega event, with thousands of families and children heading that way. One way the authorities kept the crowd in check was by introducing a flat QR150 entrance fee for cars.

However, an announcement on Al Maha Island’s official Instagram page said the car entrance fee has been waived for guests of Lusail Winter Wonderland and different restaurants.

“Free car entrance all season for the guests of Lusail Winter Wonderland and Al Maha Island restaurants,” it said on Instagram.

The authorities reminded visitors to have their parking tickets stamped at restaurants or at Lusail Winter Wonderland to avoid paying the entrance fee.

The Al Maha Island, located across the Lusail Marina promenade and linked to the mainland through a causeway, houses the Lusail Winter Wonderland, Nammos Beach Club and other high-end dining spots.

Here is an in-depth look at everything the Lusail Winter Wonderland has to offer.

If you are in the mood for a visit to the Lusail Winter Wonderland, here is a list of special offers that are currently active every day of the week.

Those who are feeling like taking a long walk along scenic locations can try the 4.7km route between Lusail South Promenade and Al Maha Island.

Qatar is rich with seafront spots for everyone to enjoy. And there is one which is easily accessible at Al Maha Island too, which you should certainly check out.

If having good food is more your thing than taking long walks, then the island gives you options for that too. Pura Vida Qatar, MokaCaffe and Rossopomodoro Qatar are all worth checking out.

If you’re keen to take your children out for a fun day filled with playful activities, then CoComelon Town at Al Maha will be a perfect fit.
