Fuel prices in Qatar to plunge in May 2020

Qatar Petroleum (QP) today issued the latest price list for all kinds of fuel in Qatar.

Effective from tomorrow May 1, 2020, the list witnesses another huge drop in fuel prices in Qatar. The new prices have been the lowest Qatar has seen in recent years.

According to the list, one liter of Premium Gasoline can be purchase for QR 1.00 from tomorrow, marking a difference of 25 dirhams from its price in April.

Likewise, from tomorrow, Super Gasoline will go down another 25 dirhams from QR 1.30 per liter to QR 1.05 a liter in May 2020.

The price of diesel for the month of May has also been set at QR 1.05 a liter. This reflects another difference of 25 dirhams from its current (April 2020) price.

Fuel prices had also seen a significant drop in April 2020.

Earlier, March witnessed a noticeable decrease as well. While, in February, the price of diesel was decreased for the first time since September 2019.

QP has been announcing the monthly fuel price list since September 2017.
