Gold prices in the Qatari market declined by 2.64% during the week, according to data issued by Qatar National Bank.
The price of gold reached $4,174.72 per ounce on Thursday, down from $4,288.25 per ounce on Sunday.
Silver records sharper weekly decline
Silver also moved lower over the same period, falling 4.98%.
Its price declined to $61.12 per ounce, compared with $64.33 per ounce at the start of the week.
Platinum down 3.53%
Platinum prices also weakened, dropping 3.53% over the week.
The metal reached $1,720.70 per ounce, compared with $1,783.74 per ounce on Sunday.
Precious metals move lower
The latest figures show a broad weekly decline across gold, silver and platinum in Qatar’s market, with silver recording the largest percentage drop among the three metals.
