The Hamad International Airport (HIA) has released an arrival guide as Doha prepares to welcome thousands of families and students returning from summer travel this August. The airport advises passengers to plan ahead and use available services to make their arrival smoother.

Families can access free strollers at locations across the terminal. A complimentary shuttle buggy operates from stations in Concourses D and E, or may be boarded along its route when seats are available, taking passengers close to the Arrivals immigration escalators.

Eligible travellers can also use Scan & Go e-gates; children must be at least 120cm tall.

People collecting arrivals are encouraged to use the airport car park, a short walk from the Arrivals Hall. Uber, BadrGo and Ryde pick-ups are on the car park’s ground floor beside car-rental booths.

Authorised taxis and buses operate from designated pavilions around the Arrivals Hall, while the Doha Metro is accessible via a short indoor walk. Car rental, limousine and valet services are also available.

Passengers should check baggage-reclaim screens for their assigned belt, including for oversized items, and verify baggage tags before leaving. The Baggage Services Office in the Arrivals Hall can assist with missing or unlocated bags. HIA staff will be available throughout the peak period to support passengers.
