With only limited days left for the completion of the Holy month of Ramadan, people have already started planning for the Eid Al Fitr break.

While many are planning to travel abroad, plenty of activities are on offer for people who are staying back. Qatar Living takes a look at some of them.

Lusail Sky Festival

This holiday season, the Al Sadd Plaza at Lusail will host one of the largest aerial spectacles the region has ever seen.

The Lusail Sky Festival will see several aerial performances, aerobatics, skydiving, skywriting demonstrations, and high-speed jet displays. Planes will create intricate formations with colored smoke, which is sure to wow everyone on the ground.

Eid Celebrations at Msheireb Downtown Doha

Venue: Msheireb Downtown Doha

The Msheireb Downtown Doha area will transform itself into a beehive of activities, complete with family games, live musical performances, interactive shows, culinary delights, and more.

Disney's The Magic Box

Venue: Qatar National Convention Center

Date: April 3 to April 12

Mara will take a magical journey into ‘The Magic Box,’ where beloved Disney characters and tales will come to life. Some of Disney’s most-loved original film songs will add magid to the experience.

Eid Activities at Tawar Mall

Venue: Tawar Mall

Head over to Tawar Mall with the entire family to enjoy marshmallow shows, bubble shows, dance performances, arts and crafts, costumes and more.

Eid festivities at Old Doha Port

Venue: Mina District and Mina Parks, Old Doha Port

Eight days from start of Eid

Time: 4pm to 10pm

Tickets: Free of charge

Old Doha Port visitors will be treated to some great cultural performances and activities that reflect the spirit of Eid. While a traditional maritime band will perform at Al Bandar, there will also be live music by other artists as well. There will be shows for kids and several family-friendly activities. Street food stalls and a busty bazaar will add to the mood.

TUL8TE Live in Qatar

Venue: Doha Golf Club

Date: April 4

Time: 8pm onwards

TUL8TE, a singer known for his unique blend of modern pop and Egyptian music, will take to stage in Qatar. It will be an unforgettable evening of great music. 

Eid at Katara

Venue: Katara Cultural Village
Date:
From March 30 onwards

Time: 4pm to 11pm

Tickets: Free entry
Katara will host several performances and shows, including the Police Music Band. There will be Qatari Ardha dances, street art displays, Asian-African folklore performances, among others.

Fireworks at Al Wakrah Old Souq

There will be a mesmerising fireworks display at the Al Wakrah Old Souq on the first four days of Eid.
