HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, along with various heads of state and their delegations, attended the seventh edition of the Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) at the International Centre of Conferences in Algiers, Algeria, on Saturday.

Sheikh Tamim said the GECF gathering discussed global prospects and challenges facing the sector.
“Today, I participated in the seventh summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in sisterly Algeria, which I thank for its good organization,” he wrote on his social media handle on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“We discussed the global prospects and challenges for this resource, and through the Algeria Declaration and previous declarations, we will continue to work on the common aspirations of our countries towards sustainable growth for the good of all,” he wrote.
“I thank my brother President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for the invitation and good reception,” Sheikh Tamim added.
