Qatar is all set to celebrate its National Day on Friday, December 18.
The authorities have confirmed that this year's celebrations will be held in compliance with the recommended precautionary measures against COVID-19.
Security arrangements are in place for the National Day parade, which will only see the attendance of families of employees of the health sector and other entities participating in the event. The event will only be open to those who have special invites to attend.
As the country gears up to mark the occasion with pride and patriotism, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has issued an Amiri gesture pardoning a number of prisoners, on account of Qatar National Day 2020.
