As Qatar and Saudi Arabia make efforts to cement bilateral ties, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with HRH the Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet of Saudi Arabia, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, yesterday.

The meeting that took place at HH the Amir’s office in Al Bahr Palace saw the two sides review the relations between the brotherly nations.

HH the Amir and HRH Prince Turki also looked into ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation further.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Saudi minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and HRH Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Chairman of the Council Ministers and Minister of Defense to HH the Amir.

He wished continued health and happiness for his HH the Amir and more progress to the people of Qatar.

HH the Amir conveyed to HRH Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia his greetings to his brother, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

HH the Amir also wished the Saudi leadership good health and well-being and more prosperity for the Saudi people.

Prince Turki, who is currently visiting Qatar, also held talks with HE Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, yesterday.

With the two brotherly nations focusing on bolstering ties, the second meeting of the Qatari-Saudi Follow-up Committee also took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar earlier this week.
