HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will patronize the opening ceremony of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 on Friday, January 12, at the Lusail Stadium.

The opening ceremony will commence at 5pm at the iconic 88,000-capacity stadium. This will be followed by the opening match between defending Asian champions Qatar and Lebanon at 7pm.

The gates to the Lusail Stadium will open at 2pm, five hours ahead of the opening game.
