Qatar and Kuwait's bilateral relations have been going from strength to strength in recent years.
The two nations continue to support each other through collaboration across various fields including political, economic, trade, investment, military and security cooperation, education, human rights, among others.
Earlier in April, to discuss the solid fraternal relations between Qatar and Kuwait as well as review efforts to fight the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a telephonic conversation with HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
In a bid to further cement the Qatari-Kuwaiti bond, HH the Kuwaiti Amir sent a verbal message to HH the Amir yesterday.
The message was conveyed by the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al Mohammad Al Sabah during a meeting with HH the Amir at his office in Al-Bahr Palace, according to Qatar News Agency (QNA).

The message was regarding the fraternal ties between the two nations and ways to enhance and develop them. It also covered several issues of mutual interest.
At the start of the meeting, HE the Kuwaiti Minister conveyed the Kuwaiti Amir's greetings to HH the Amir.
He wished good health and happiness for HH the Amir and further progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar.
HH the Amir entrusted HE the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to HH Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, wishing him good health and well-being. He also wished further prosperity to the brotherly people of Kuwait.
During his visit to Qatar, the Kuwaiti Minister also met his Qatari counterpart HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. The two ministers discussed bilateral ties and issues of common interest during the meeting.
