His Excellency the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Their Excellencies the Speaker and members of the Shura Council at the Amiri Diwan this morning.
The Amir greeted them at the start of the meeting, wishing them success in serving the country and its citizens, as well as contributing to progress and the country's overall renaissance.
The Speaker and members of the Shura Council, for their part, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Amir, emphasizing their commitment to the country's interests and to carrying out the tasks entrusted to them with honesty and sincerity in order to realize the Qatari people's hopes and aspirations.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Amir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, as well as Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.
