Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiya Hospital which was opened on November 8^th, 2022, in the Tenbek area in the north of Qatar will play an important role in the health sector during the FIFA World Cup 2022 matches, HE Minister of Public Health (MoPH) Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari said.

Located in close proximity to the Al Bayt Stadium and Lusail Stadium, it is the second largest HMC hospital in terms size and capacity. Dr. Kuwari further said that the hospital will provide around the clock care for urgent but non-life threatening medical conditions for all individuals.

With 300 rooms distributed across 4 levels in the main building, the hospital is noted for its unique design as it enables the quick movement of medical professionals and patients along the various medical departments and between the outpatient clinics and main building.

The hospital was inaugurated by HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani who was then briefed by the MoPH Minister Dr. Kuwari on the state of the art medical facilities and specialized treatments available in the hospital.

Other attendees at the opening included the HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim and a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs, dignitaries, and senior officials of Hamad Medical Corporation.
