As Qatar gears up to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its operating hours during the fasting month.

All emergency and inpatient services at HMC hospitals will operate the usual way, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

There will be some changes in timings for services delivered through the national COVID-19 helpline number: 16000.

The COVID-19 helpline will follow Ramadan service hours round-the-clock, seven days a week. You can access the service by dialing 16000, choose the language you want, and select 1 for COVID-19.

HMC’s OPD virtual clinics will operate in conjunction with HMC Urgent consultation clinics. During Ramadan, virtual appointments will be held between 9 am and 2 pm, Sunday to Thursday.

The Ramadan service hours for HMC Urgent Consultation will be from 8 am to 3 pm, throughout the week. To access this virtual service you can call 16000, pick the language and press 3 for HMC, and select 1 for HMC Urgent Consultation.

The Ramadan service hours for the Mental Health Helpline will be from 9 am -2 pm and from 9 pm -2 am, Saturday to Thursday, and from 9 am – 2 pm on Fridays. To access the service, you can call 16000, select language, select 3 for HMC, and select 1 for HMC Urgent Consultation.

HMC Pharmacy Medication Home Delivery Service will be from 8 am -3 pm, Saturday to Thursday. The service will be unavailable on Friday. To access the service, you can call 16000, select language, select 3 for HMC, and select 2 for Medication Delivery. A QR 30 fee will apply for delivery, payable by credit card.

HMC’s Drug information Service: from 8 am-3 pm, Saturday to Thursday (closed on Fridays); call 40260759.

HMC Diabetes Hotline will operate seven days a week from 8 am -5.30 pm and from 7.30 pm -11 pm; call 16099/4.

HMC’s Blood Donor Center next to Hamad General Hospital will be operational from 8 am to 1 pm and from 6 pm to midnight from Saturday to Thursday.

New Blood Donor Center opposite Outpatient Department next to Surgical Specialty Center will be open from 6 pm to midnight, Saturday to Thursday (closed in the morning). Both the centers will remain closed on Fridays.

HMC’s Nesma’ak Customer Service helpline, 16060, will operate Sunday to Thursday, from 7 am -10 pm; and on Friday and Saturday, from 10 am -4 pm.
