Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its operating hours for the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays.

All HMC emergency and inpatient services across Qatar will operate as usual, 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week, HMC announced.

“Every day across our hospital network our teams deliver high-quality care to thousands of patients and this Eid will be no different. Many of our outpatient departments will close for the Eid holiday, but clinical teams in all of our hospitals will continue to provide the highest levels of patient care in our Emergency Departments and across many essential services throughout this holiday period,” said Ali Abdullah Al Khater, chief communications officer at HMC.

The Emergency Department at Heart Hospital (for cardiac patients only) and the Urgent Care Unit at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (for patients with symptoms associated with ongoing cancer treatments) will operate according to its normal timings, as will the Emergency Department of the Women’s Wellness and Research Centre.

The normal timings will be followed at the Dialysis services while the Pediatric Emergency Centers will remain open round the clock, throughout the week for medical emergencies involving patients under the age of 14 years.

The majority of Outpatient Departments (OPD) will be closed on August 11 and will re-open on August 14.

When OPD clinics are open, they will be supported by administrative and clinical support services, including pharmacy.

The NCCCR’s Radiotherapy Unit will remain open during its regular hours of 7 am to 3 pm, Sunday to Thursday. The Day Care Unit will be closed on August 11 and 12.

Those patients who have a scheduled appointment during the Eid holidays but are unable to make it are advised to contact the Hamad Customer Service Center (Nesma’ak) on 16060.

HMC said patients can call Nesma’ak on 16060 for information regarding clinic operating hours, scheduled appointments, or a change in appointment.

Nesma’ak will be closed on August 11, 12, and 13 and will reopen on August 14 with normal working hours from 7 am to 10 pm.
