The Ministry of Interior has introduced a feature on its Metrash2 app that will enable you to apply for holding an event in Qatar.

As a result, one will be required to initially download the Metrash2 app which is available on both Google Play and Appstore.

One will require a valid Qatar ID and a sim card to enable the log-in process. You will also need to make sure your email is configured and can be done in the settings of the Metrash2 application.

The app is also available in English, Arabic, French, Malayalam, and Spanish. Once you have logged in, you can apply for holding an event by following these steps.

Select ‘Communicate with us’

 

Select ‘Apply to Hold an Event’

 

Agree to the ‘Commitment to request Occasion’

 

Fill in the required details and select ‘Send’

 

You will then be sent an email confirmation regarding the event hosting application.

Please make sure that you follow all the requirements included in the ‘Commitment to request Occasion’ form, including all the precautionary rules imposed by the Ministry of Public Health.
