The second edition of the International Fashion Innovation Conclave witnessed that took place on October 31 and witnessed over 300 participants globally. As a result of the coronavirus, the event took place in the form of a webinar.

The event hosted by Maverick365 explored the transformation of the fashion industry ecosystem, specifically beyond 2020, through new and exciting innovations and entrepreneurial endeavors.

XPLUS, a global business media and events company, Qatar-based Address Business Management and Turkey’s Qanaq Business consultancy were strategic partners for this webinar.

During the event, leading industry-experts, fashionistas, seasoned event managers, and fashion entrepreneurs pointed out the latest trends, innovations, and problems affecting the fashion industry. ‘Building Sustainable Fashion Brands’ was the topic of the Masterclass during the first session and highlighted the growing need for brands to incorporate sustainability into their business model.

Ayse Brav, Turkish Fashion Designer and founder of Ayse Brav, Roni Helou, Fashion Trust Arabia champion in Qatar and emerging sustainable fashion champion, and Claire Blumenthal, founder of Atelier Blumenthal were some of the speakers during the first session.

The second session titled “The Future of the Wedding Business” focused on the growing demand for destination-related experiences as the COVID-19 pandemic imposes restrictions on the number of attendants in different countries. Moreover, recent trends and challenges within the sector were pointed out during the session.

Parthip Thyagarajan, the CEO of Wedding Sutra, Orhan Genceli, Chairman of Tourism Investment Society of  Turkey, Firas Issa, the CEO of Occasions Qatar, and Vandana Mohan, celebrity wedding planner and founder of The Wedding Design Company were some of the speakers during the second session.
