The General Authority of Customs has announced an enhanced version of its AI-Nadeeb application, expanding the platform’s services to other government agencies as part of Qatar’s continued digital transformation efforts.
The upgraded application introduces intelligent tools designed to simplify electronic government transactions, improve access to services and strengthen operational efficiency across participating entities.
What is the AI-Nadeeb application?
AI-Nadeeb is an enhanced digital application connected to Al Nadeeb, Qatar’s electronic customs-clearance single-window system.
Al Nadeeb was developed to connect Customs with government bodies, importers, exporters, shipping companies and customs-clearance agencies through one integrated digital environment.
The system is intended to organise and simplify customs procedures while supporting secure trade, information exchange and coordination between the different organisations involved in importing and exporting goods.
New AI-Nadeeb features for government agencies
According to Qatar Customs, the enhanced application includes several features intended to provide a more flexible and user-friendly experience.
Customisable interfaces
The application provides modern interfaces that agencies can customise according to their operational requirements.
This is intended to make commonly used tools and information easier to access while reducing the steps required to complete routine tasks.
Smart electronic-services dashboard
A smart dashboard gives users direct access to a range of electronic government services from one location.
By bringing relevant services together, the dashboard is expected to make navigation easier and support the faster completion of government transactions.
Real-time request tracking
Government users will be able to track requests and activities in real time.
The feature provides greater visibility over the progress of each transaction and may help agencies identify pending actions or delays more quickly.

The enhanced application can also generate immediate summaries and statistical reports.
These tools are designed to help officials monitor activity, analyse operational data and make informed decisions based on current information.
Supporting coordination between government entities
One of Al Nadeeb’s main functions is to connect Customs with the government organisations responsible for approving or regulating different categories of imported and exported goods.
The official Al Nadeeb platform states that this integration helps government entities implement policies in a consistent manner, access operational information and reduce errors and processing times through shared digital procedures.
The system also produces financial, supervisory and statistical reports that can support performance monitoring and future planning.
Qatar Customs expands the use of artificial intelligence
The enhanced AI-Nadeeb application follows Qatar Customs’ introduction of artificial-intelligence services within the Al Nadeeb system earlier in 2026.
Those services were developed to accelerate customs-clearance and release procedures, improve data quality, reduce human error and provide intelligent analysis to support decision-making.
Al Nadeeb previously received recognition at the GCC Digital Government Awards for the use of artificial intelligence in government services, highlighting the platform’s role in Qatar’s wider digital-government development.
