Kahramaa receives GCC Best Electronic Services Award

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has added another feather to its cap.

Just last month, the Corporation announced that it had entered the Guinness World Records for the ‘Largest Drinking Water Storage Tank’ in the world.

And now, it has received another prestigious honor. Kahramaa has received the Best Electronic Services Award in the GCC countries.

This award is part of the three-category outstanding performance award for customer services departments.

It is organized by the customer services team of the electricity and water conservation committee and subscriber services in the member states of the GCC.

This award speaks volumes about Kahramaa’s commitment to excellence in the field of subscriber services at the regional level, in particular electronic services.

It also reflects the Corporation’s focus on providing high-quality services to its subscribers through its website as well as the smartphone application resulting from the continuous improvement it pursues.

The accomplishment complements Kahramaa's long-term strategy (2014-2030).

Currently, Kahramaa is focusing efforts on implementing the second phase of the 2019-2023 plan that aims for regional excellence.

It also supports the Corporation’s efforts toward smart services transformation to evolve into a paperless corporation. This is in line with its earlier efforts toward sustainable development, preserving the environment and reducing harmful carbon emissions.
