The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced that the Covid-19 drive-through facility in Lusail will offer testing and vaccine booster doses from Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Out of the ten lanes in the drive-through centre, six will be dedicated to booster vaccinations and the remaining four lanes to conduct Covid-19 testing for eligible groups.

Booster doses to be provided by invitation only, using an appointment system. Individuals must have an SMS that identifies their time slot and is on a first-come-first-seen basis, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

In Qatar, the total administered Covid-19 booster vaccine doses is 675,049. The drive-through in Lusail helps significantly expand the capacity of Covid-19 testing and improve accessibility for swabbing.
