Mondrian Doha will host the world's first edition of Fashion Weekend International 2018 that will feature design extraordinaire fashion designer Manish Malhotra, Bollywood actress and icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and make-up and hair stylist, NABILA.  

Taking place in the Moonstone Ballroom at Mondrian Doha, Rai Bachchan will walk for Malhotra for the first time ever internationally. This marks a momentous occasion for Qatar, turning Doha into an avant-garde destination for fashion lovers.

Fashion Weekend International (FWI2018) is a series of fashion-focused events which will throw a spotlight exclusively on Manish Malhotra’s designs, which will be showcased by India’s top models and celerity showstopper Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Malhotra is synonymous with opulent designs, craftmanship and styling international celebrities showcasing classic and contemporary work. With a prolific career of over nearly three decades, Malhotra’s ensembles have been worn by the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Naomi Campbell and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Mondrian Doha will be turned into an elite arena for the fashion conscious, where guests will enjoy cocktails from RISE, be at the epicenter of gastronomic delights from Michelin Star maestros Wolfgang Puck and and Morimoto, with the after party held at Mondrian Doha’s Black Orchid.

Featuring a grand red-carpet entry, film celebrities and international media including HELLO, GRAZIA, as well as broadcast media such as Zee TV, FWI2018 will allow fashion lovers to participate in a weekend of high fashion and beauty as well as get first hand access to the latest jewelry displays by a premier local jewelry house.

Additionally, ladies can make private appointments with Malhotra on Oct 6, to sketch their dream bridal ensemble or just custom couture with a minimum spend of USD 10,000.
