With Eid Al Adha only a few days away now, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has readied several beaches across Qatar and equipped them with the relevant facilities to allow visitors of all categories, including laborers, to fully enjoy their beach experience during this festive season.
The arrangements have been carried out with the support of various entities including the National Tourism Council, the Internal Security Forces (Lekhwiya), the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), and the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs.

During the Eid Al Adha holidays from August 11 to 17, Al Kharij beach located at Umm Bab Area within Al Rayyan Municipality will be allocated to laborers, according to MME's assistant undersecretary for General Services Affairs, Safar Mubarak Al Shafi.
The arrangement comes as part of the keenness of concerned entities in the country on providing good services to this significant category of people and the services they offer the country.
The beach comprises many amenities and some playgrounds for group games such as cricket, football, and beach volleyball, in addition to other general facilities for the convenience of the workers during the holidays.
Al Shafi pointed out that the Ministry has also prepared the family beaches and ensured they have the necessary services such as toilets, lifeguards, paramedics, barbecue areas, play areas, and cleanness services and garbage containers to enhance the experience of visitors at the beaches.
Al Farikah beach at Al Khor and Al Wakrah beaches are fully prepared to receive families during the forthcoming holidays, Al Shafi added.

His Excellency the Minister of Municipality and Environment Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie recently issued a ministerial decision to form a joint team to regulate the work at the various beaches of the country.
The team is headed by Al Shafi and includes members from the participating entities.
If you are planning to visit the beach during these holidays, be sure to take a quick look at these tips and play your part in protecting Qatar's beautiful beaches.
