With the FIFA World Cup 2022 on the horizon, Qatar is welcoming a wave of new restaurants opening up to the world. The upcoming dining establishments, when combined with the destination's already extensive gourmet portfolio, are expected to establish Qatar as a major culinary destination. This is Qatar’s year and excitingly the Food and Beverage committee is going all in when it comes to serving a wide variety of delicious foods.
A wide range of culinary establishments have been opening. Below are some restaurants we are looking forward to seeing thrive in 2022:-
1. Ergon
Looking for premium quality greek food? Ergon Foods' most recent initiative is a fantastic deli and cafe in the center of Doha, Qatar, with a premium variety of artisanal products and food that delights the senses. All of this is rewarded with breathtaking views of spectacular sky-high skyscrapers with outdoor seating. Ergon consists of independent food artisans that remain true to their tradition while modernizing history tested processes. Enjoy fresh prepared delicacies, salads, and more.

2. Lobito De Mar
This one is for seafood lovers! Lobito de Mar is an innovative seafood restaurant and vibrant tapas bar located in the magnificent gardens of Marsa Malaz Kempinski, the Pearl. Being a city beach restaurant, Lobito delivers fresh dishes with an authentic taste of the sea. Two menus, each with its own set of culinary options, tailored to distinct palates and budgets. Lobito de Mar is a two-level restaurant that will be inviting visitors for both lunch and supper and extending into a lounge feel after specific hours of the night. It will have beautiful interiors with fantastic outdoor unique views, overlooking Qanat Quartier and the Arabian Gulf.

3. Eva Lounge
Enjoy this cute instagrammable lounge consisting of international cuisine. Visit for a refreshing mocktail, coffee, desserts along with a variety of pasta and salads. Their Tea selections feature a diverse range of the finest tea leaves from around the world. Tea enthusiasts will find a wide selection of their favorites to enjoy on a fine evening with a loved one.

4. Flavor's Cafe 'the healthier twist'
If you’re health conscious or just on diet, this can be a great stop! We live in a time when there is a lot of uncertainty about what to eat and what not to eat. There is a lot of contradicting advice in the nutrition field. Flavor Cafe's is here to bring you ingredients that are never fried and have a low saturated fat, calorie, and salt content along with fresh veggies and gluten free options.

5. Al Falamanki Doha
Missing the taste of Lebanon? The popular eatery includes traditionals in their menu from cold mezze like hummus and labneh to hot mezze such as foul medames and sujuk, along with juicy meat skewers or grilled chicken. The restaurant has two branches in Beirut and Dubai with an authentic vibe where you will see plenty of people playing cards or backgammon on any visit. For breakfast, Al Falamanki is open from 8 a.m., and you can order eggs any way you like them or dig into an akawi cheese manakish.

6. Café Kitsuné
French and international classics redone with a unique Japanese touch, Café Kitsuné offers egg sandos, lemongrass and ginger tuna croque-monsieur, and a Kitsuné burger with teriyaki sauce. The French-Japanese coffee shop, which first debuted in Paris in 2002, now has locations all over the world, with its first Doha location in Downtown Mesheireib. The coffee menu is comprehensive, offering hot and cold beverages ranging in price from QR16-30. Café Kitsuné Objets, the brand's line of dinnerware, ready-to-wear pieces, and accessories, will be available in-store. This features a limited-edition capsule collection with graphic designer Michal Loba's special Doha-inspired print.

7. Kebab Yakyaki
Kebab Yakiki is a diverse restaurant that provides a variety of modern and traditional cuisine while listening to folk music in the heart of the old Al Wakrah Souq, making it one of Qatar's most popular destinations. With its particular combinations and unique flavors, Kebab Yakiki is keen to deliver the greatest service and quality, with Qatari hands. Enjoy their classic meat grills along with juices and dessert.
