With the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 fast approaching, there is a healthy demand for tickets to the continental competition.

The first batch of around 150,000 tickets, which organisers released on October 10, were sold out within a few days. A total of 81,209 tickets were sold out in the first 24 hours, with most sales coming from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and India.

Buoyed by the success, organisers announced on social media that they will release a second batch of tickets soon.

Match tickets for the group stage start at QR25 each and can be purchased online through the official ticketing website. Spectators from other nations can also purchase tickets using the same website.

All AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 tickets will be digital and can be presented as mobile tickets on any mobile device. Fans who want to resell tickets can do so using the tournament’s official ticket resale platform.

Qatar will be hosting the AFC Asian Cup for the third time, having previously organised it in 1988 and 2011. 

24 Asian teams will play 51 matches across nine stadiums in Qatar between January 12 and February 10, 2024. The opening match between hosts and defending champions Qatar and Lebanon will be held at the iconic Lusail Stadium.
