Founded in 2019, Platinum Mzadat achieved impressive results in a short period of time and took on the initiative to organize and manage online auctions for the first time in Qatar.

Platinum joined the online auction market after signing a cooperation agreement with the Supreme Judiciary Council in the State of Qatar to hold an auction for the sale of car plate numbers in November 2020.

After the success of the auction, more categories were added such as cars, real estate, and heavy equipment as well.

Successful auctions followed after that as Platinum Mzadat organized 30 auctions, bringing the sales total to QAR 90 million with 550 different items in the auction. The auctions included 10 online auctions on real estate, the proceeds of which exceeded the amount of QAR 64 million, and 18 auctions on cars, car plate numbers, and heavy equipment, the proceeds of which exceeded the amount of QAR 25 million.

Meanwhile, the total number of downloads for the mobile application on the App Store and Google Play has reached 50,000 with 35,000 registered users.

Managing Director of Platinum Mzadat Mohammed Abdul Hameed stated, “We followed the international standards for online auctions, and we were able to apply them here in Qatar within a short period of time.

"The secret behind our success lies in the company's values ​​and vision as we believe in transparency and continuous development," he added.

He expressed his hope that these successes will continue and attract more public and private sector companies wishing to sell items through online auctions.

The company has also announced its latest cooperation agreement with Alijarah Equipment to sell cars through the "Platinum Mzadat" app. The company will organize and manage the pricing, vehicle inspection as well as advertising for the auction.

Those wishing to participate in the car auction in collaboration with Alijarah Equipment should register on the "Platinum Mzadat" mobile application using their QID and a valid Qatari phone number.

Bidders should also deposit a refundable security amount according to the opening price of the item they wish to bid on. Items with an opening price of less than 100,000 QAR have a deposit amount of 5,000 QAR, while items with an opening price of more than 100,000 QAR, have a deposit amount of 250,000 QAR.
