The State of Qatar has condemned the two explosions that occurred near the Ministry of Tourism in Damascus, the capital of Syria, which resulted in injuries.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed Qatar’s firm position rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons. The ministry also affirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with Syria and its support for the country, stressing Qatar’s complete backing of all measures taken to preserve security and stability.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar’s wishes for the injured to recover swiftly and prayed for Syria to be protected from all harm.
