In another prestigious achievement that reinforces Qatar Foundation’s (QF) excellence in innovation, a global creative media award has been presented to “Catalyzing the Future” an event that celebrated the 10^th anniversary of Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP).

According to QF, an international jury named the event the gold medal winner in the ‘Celebration/Anniversary’ category of the Golden Award of Montreux.

The Golden Award of Montreux recognizes companies and individuals from across the globe for the creation of excellent advertising, multimedia, and events. The jurors of the Award are from 16 countries.

The recognition for this QF event reflects the impact that the innovative and interactive showcase made on a local, regional, and international audience.

The event celebrated QF’s efforts and achievements in the field of research, development, and innovation (RDI). It also shined a spotlight on the next stage of Qatar’s RDI journey and the legacy it would create.

Catalyzing the Future celebrated QSTP’s growth into a national and regional hub of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship since it was created in 2009.

Executive director, QSTP, Yosouf Abdulrahman al-Salehi, said the celebration, and the campaign that preceded it, “marked a pivotal moment in the story of research, development, and innovation in Qatar.”

“It showcased how QF and RDI-focused organizations across Qatar have built a platform from which we can generate solutions that make our nation more sustainable and have the potential to create international benefit, while making Qatar a global destination for technology companies, innovators, and entrepreneurs.”

The Qatar office of leading event and marketing agency, fischerAppelt, produced the event with the concept that featured both a ceremony and an exhibition.

The event displayed successful technology ventures, incubated at QSTP, with one of its centerpieces being an interactive 4D show.
