The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) will host its second edition of 2022 Beach Games at Katara Cultural Village from March 19 to 25.
During the tournament, there will be four beach sports, including football, karate, volleyball, and 3x3 basketball.
The QOC Beach Games is a community event aimed at promoting beach sports in Qatar. This tournament part of QOC's annual initiative to improve the physical fitness and health of all individuals.
The QOC is committed to preserving the memory of the ANOC Beach Games.
Mr. Rashid Adiba, Director of the 2022 QOC Beach Games said: "The tournament is one of the community events and activities organized by the QOC annually to take all individuals of the society to greater standards of health and to improve their physical fitness."
“The first edition of the games reached its main goal , brought together a big number of enthusiasts , lovers and has seen an exceptional turnout and success , participants number from citizens and residents reached more than 500 athletes also more than 3000 spectators attended the games,” he added.
