Qatar Participates in First Arab Forum for Administrative Justice and Integrity in Cairo
The State of Qatar participated in the First Arab Forum for Administrative Justice and Integrity, held in Cairo under the title “Developing Administrative Investigation Skills and Promoting Governance Principles”.
The State of Qatar was represented at the forum by Amna Abdulrahman Al Sulaiti, as part of Qatar’s Permanent Delegation to the Arab League.
The forum, organised by the Arab Administrative Development Organization in cooperation with the Administrative Prosecution Authority of the Arab Republic of Egypt, aims to highlight the role of administrative investigation as a key tool in supporting transparency and accountability, while reviewing legal frameworks and practical applications related to governance.
The forum also discusses best practices and experiences in developing disciplinary systems and promoting institutional integrity within government entities.
Its themes cover the concept of good governance and its dimensions in public administration, administrative investigation as a tool to promote governance in light of the 2003 United Nations Convention against Corruption, and technical challenges in administrative investigation and their impact on governance effectiveness.
The forum also addresses modern judicial principles and trends in disciplinary accountability and governance support, as well as disciplinary sanctions and administrative grievances and their role in strengthening accountability and governance in comparative disciplinary systems across Arab countries. It also includes simulation sessions and practical applications linking administrative investigation with governance principles.
