Qatar's real estate market recorded a decline in sales value during the 37th week of 2026, according to data from the General Authority for Real Estate Regulation, Aqarat.

The total value of sale contracts reached QAR 354.5 million between September 6 and 12, down 52.8% week on week and 32.2% year on year. A total of 118 contracts were recorded, up 1.7% weekly but down 12.6% annually.

Villa sales accounted for QAR 150.1 million, vacant land for QAR 128.2 million and residential apartments for QAR 40.2 million. Doha Municipality led trading with QAR 115.3 million, followed by Al Daayen with QAR 86.2 million and Al Rayyan with QAR 75.3 million.

Mortgage activity included 13 contracts worth QAR 115.17 million.

Rental contracts reached 538, with a combined value of QAR 5.47 million, down 68.5% week on week and 57.8% year on year. Al Rayyan recorded the highest rental value at QAR 2.5 million.
