Qatar Chamber is participating in the 52nd Arab Labour Conference, which began in Cairo on Sunday and runs until 20 September.
The delegation is led by Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber's Board of Directors. The conference brings together labour ministers, governments, employers and workers to discuss climate change, the future of work and the role of start-ups in the digital transformation.
Sheikh Khalifa said the Arab private sector is a key partner in development and a major driver of investment and job creation. He called for stronger public-private partnerships and policies that support investment, entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable employment.
