Qatar’s real estate trading volume exceeded QAR 805.47 million during the two-week period from July 12 to 23, 2026, according to figures released by the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice.

Registered property sales contracts reached QAR 748,483,214, while residential-unit sales contracts recorded during the same period totalled QAR 56,995,573. This brought the combined value of real estate trading to approximately QAR 805.478 million.

Property sales exceed QAR 748 million

The largest share of the total came from general property sales contracts registered with the Ministry of Justice’s Real Estate Registration Department.

These contracts accounted for more than QAR 748.48 million of the trading volume recorded between July 12 and 23.

Residential-unit contracts added nearly QAR 57 million, representing the remaining portion of the combined two-week total.

What types of properties were sold?

The weekly real estate bulletins showed that transactions covered a diverse range of property categories.

Properties traded during the period included:

  • Vacant land
  • Houses and residences
  • Residential buildings
  • Commercial buildings
  • Commercial office buildings
  • Administrative buildings
  • Shops
  • Petrol stations
  • Residential units

The mix shows that the recorded activity extended beyond residential properties to include land and different forms of commercial real estate.

Municipalities recording real estate sales

Transactions were distributed across several municipalities in Qatar, including:

  • Doha
  • Al Rayyan
  • Al Daayen
  • Al Wakrah
  • Umm Salal
  • Al Khor and Al Thakhira
  • Al Shamal

The bulletin did not provide an individual value breakdown for each municipality in the two-week announcement.

Lusail and The Pearl among highlighted areas

The Ministry of Justice bulletin also identified several areas where sales activity was concentrated.

These included Lusail 69, The Pearl Island, Legtaifiya, Al Kharayej, Ghar Thuaileb and Al Wukair.

Lusail and The Pearl remain among Qatar’s most prominent residential and mixed-use destinations, while areas such as Al Wukair, Ghar Thuaileb and Al Kharayej represent activity across other parts of the country.

Previous trading period exceeded QAR 565 million

For context, real estate trading registered between June 28 and July 2 exceeded QAR 565 million.

That one-week total consisted of QAR 482,772,733 in registered property sales and QAR 82,522,865 in residential-unit contracts. However, it should not be directly compared with the latest figure as the two announcements cover different reporting periods.

Qatar property market reporting

The Ministry of Justice regularly publishes weekly and monthly real estate bulletins covering registered sales, property categories and the municipalities and areas where transactions take place.

These figures reflect completed contracts registered through the Real Estate Registration Department rather than advertised property prices or rental listings.

The latest data places the value of registered real estate trading between July 12 and 23 at more than QAR 805 million, with activity recorded across residential, commercial and land categories.
