Qatar real estate transactions reach QR583.1 million in one week

Qatar’s real estate market recorded approximately QR583.1 million in transactions between September 20 and 24, 2026, according to the latest weekly data from the Ministry of Justice.

Sales contracts registered with the Ministry’s Real Estate Registration Department totalled QR516,362,618, while transactions involving residential units reached QR66,738,529.

Combined, the two categories brought the week’s total real estate trading volume to approximately QR583.101 million.

What types of properties were sold?

The Ministry’s weekly real estate bulletin showed transactions across several property categories, including:

  • Vacant land
  • Houses
  • Residential buildings
  • Service buildings
  • Commercial buildings
  • Residential units

The figures reflect activity across both traditional property transactions and the residential unit market.

Where were transactions concentrated?

Property sales were recorded across several municipalities, including:

  • Al Rayyan
  • Doha
  • Umm Salal
  • Al Wakra
  • Al Daayen
  • Al Khor and Al Thakhira
  • Al Shamal

Residential unit transactions were also recorded in areas including Lusail 69, The Pearl Island, Al Wukair, Al Gharrafa, Al Khareij and Ghar Tha'ilb.

Trading increases from previous week

The latest figures represent a notable increase compared with the previous reporting period.

Between September 13 and 17, registered real estate sales contracts totalled more than QR370 million.

For the September 20–24 period, overall trading including residential units reached QR583.1 million, indicating stronger transaction activity week-on-week.

Weekly data tracks Qatar property activity

The Ministry of Justice publishes regular real estate bulletins showing transaction values and the geographic distribution of property sales across the country.

The figures provide a snapshot of activity across Qatar’s property market, from vacant land and residential buildings to commercial assets and individual housing units.
