The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Slovak Republic held political meetings in Bratislava, Slovakia's capital, on Friday.
HE Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, led the Qatari delegation, while HE Dr. R. Buzek, Political Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, led the Slovak delegation.
During the political consultations, the two nations' bilateral cooperation relations were examined, as well as strategies to develop them in the future.

The consultations were attended by the Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador HE Salem bin Abdullah Al-Jaber, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar (non-resident) to the Slovak Republic HE Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, and the accompanying Qatari delegation, in addition to the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic (non-resident) in the State of Qatar, and HE Head of the Middle East and Africa Department at the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavol Ivan.
