The Qatari national team holds its position as the defending champion in the Asian Handball Championship for the fifth time in a row – winning the final match against Bahrain, 29-24.

The Qatari team achieved the full mark in the tournament by winning three matches in the group stage, three in the main round, and within the qualification card to the World Championship next year.
