The Lusail Super Cup Local Organizing Committee has declared Qatari Diar as the Presenting Partner for the Lusail Super Cup, which will be held at Lusail Stadium on Friday 9 September 2022. Owned by the Qatar Football Association, the stadium is set to have 10 amazing matches. located about 23 km north of Doha, it is notorious to be the greatest venue for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Champions of Saudi Arabia and Egypt at the 80,000-capacity venue will be contesting The Lusail Super Cup. It is here where the much-awaited World Cup final will be staged with billions around the globe watching. Qatari Diar’s involvement in the event was announced during a press conference at Al Bidda Tower.

Hassan Al Kuwari, Marketing Director, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 LLC, said: “We are delighted to partner with Qatari Diar to stage the Lusail Super Cup at Lusail Stadium. The development of Lusail City is one of Qatar’s major achievements and we are very proud to be hosting huge matches in this location. We are also very excited to be staging FIFA World Cup matches in Lusail later this year, including the final on Qatar National Day.”

Lusail Stadium is Qatar's greatest FIFA World Cup™ competition scene. It will have ten matches during the tournament, beginning with Argentina versus Saudi Arabia on November 22 and finishing with the last on December 18, 2022. The stadium boasts a host of sustainability features, including a rooftop produced using PTFE that safeguards the venue from warm wind, keeps out dust, and allows enough light for the pitch to grow while providing shade to reduce the burden on the stadium’s air conditioning. Last week, Lusail Stadium accomplished a five-star Global Sustainability Assessment System rating fboastsor its design and achieved build a Class A* rating for construction management.

Being Qatari Diar's flagship project, Lusail City spans 38,000,000m². It is the single largest development in the country’s history encapsulating the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 which hopes to develop a knowledgeable economy and diminish dependence on hydrocarbons
