Qatar continues to ace in the field of aviation.

Just a few days ago, Qatar Executive teamed up with ‘One More Orbit’ for a record-breaking pole to pole journey across the world, and now Qatar’s peacekeeping aircraft has won the first position for the best fixed aircraft at the Royal Air Show underway at UK’s Yeovilton Air Force.

The Qatari Air Force is participating in the exhibition with strategic transport aircraft C17/Globe Master and C-130/J-30 Super Hercules.

The participation was part of the Royal Air International/RNAS International Day.

Yeovilton opened its gates to over 40,000 visitors to enjoy the magnificent five-hour flying display, and meet Armed Forces personnel and have a chance to view the equipment up close.

The participating countries showed their air capabilities, as well as live air shows and fixed ground displays of aircraft, fighters and automatic simulators of all participating countries.

Members of the Air Transport pavilion, including pilots and organizers, provided information to attendees and visitors about aircraft characteristics, cargo, and capabilities, as well as the pavilion's capabilities and functions.

Qatar participates in the Resolute Support, non-combat operations, in Afghanistan through strategic transport planes "C17" and "C130J" that are under the command of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (Nato).

Moreover, Qatar provides relief to the affected areas of brotherly and friendly countries around the world, in addition to offering medical evacuations and relief air support in areas hit by natural calamities such as earthquakes, among other functions.
