Paris Saint-Germain — majority-owned by Qatar Sports Investments — pulled off a sensational comeback to win the UEFA Super Cup 2025, defeating Tottenham Hotspur 4-3 on penalties after a nail-biting finish in Italy.

Tottenham took a commanding 2-0 lead early in the second half, but PSG roared back with two late goals. 

This marks PSG’s fifth trophy of 2025 and adds yet another achievement to their wall of fame, having already secured the Champions League, Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and Trophée des Champions.

The triumph cements PSG’s dominance in European football and emphasises Qatar’s continued influence and success on the global sporting stage.
