Qatari marathon runner Rashid Al-Hajri made history as the first GCC athlete to finish all six major world marathons.
Completing the 125th edition of the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:32:29 yesterday, the Qatari athlete shared photos after the race as he holds the Qatar flag and two medals, a Boston Marathon medal, and a Six Star medal.
Al-Hajri also became the first-ever Six Star Finisher from Qatar after completing the Boston Marathon.

The efforts of the Qatari athlete were also recognized by the Qatar Olympic Committee in a recent tweet that congratulated the athlete for his amazing achievement.
After a 30-month hiatus owing to the pandemic, the 125th edition of the Boston Marathon, the world's oldest annual marathon, returned to the streets of Copley Square in Boston on Monday with 20,000 runners.
