On Sunday, March 13, 2022, Qetaifan Projects' Managing Director, H.E. Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, hosted a press conference at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Doha for the sales launch of Qetaifan Island North's phase 3 villa plots.
Among the attendees were Mr. Hesham Sharaf - Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Jean Antonios - Chief Legal Officer, Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani - Head of Business Development in Qetaifan Projects, and Mr. Nasser Hassan Al-Ansari - Chairman and CEO of Just Real Estate - Sales Agent.
Additionally, Mr. Nasser Al Mawlawi, Mr. Mohamed El Emadi Group Chief Business Officer – Masraf Al Rayyan, Mr. Ahmad Al Boainin, Mr. Erfan Sherif, Mrs. Amena Tena from Katara Hospitality attended the conference amidst numerous VIPs, guests, reporters, and journalists.
The Managing Director of Qetaifan Projects, H.E. Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, said: "Following the achievements and success of Qetaifan Projects, the master developer of Qetaifan Island North and due to the high demand witnessed on residential villa plots in Phase 1 and 2, after a comprehensive and careful study of the real estate market we announce the sales launch of the third phase of residential villa plots in Qetaifan Island North – a total of 40 villa plots, comprising of beach access villas, waterfront, garden view, and for the first time villas overlooking Qetaifan Island North’s Linear Canal.”
"We have introduced new plots due to the remarkable demand for ownership on Qetaifan Island North and in response to the requirements of the market, which has been witnessing remarkable growth lately, especially after the implementation of the Freehold law for non-Qataris, in addition to allowing those who have not had the chance to own plots in Phase 1 and 2, at competitive prices and financing facilities for both owners and investors," he added.
Apart from the beach access, waterfront, and garden view villas, several plots will be made available for the first time, allowing owners to build villas with private access and a distinctive view of Qetaifan Island North's Linear Canal and the sea.
Each plot has an area of 1,000 to 2,060 square meters. Waterfront plots have areas between 1,020 and 1,250 square meters, whereas Garden view plots have areas between 1,200 and 1,300 square meters.
The design of villas offers the possibility of construction of a ground floor, in addition to two floors including a first floor and a penthouse. Additionally, owners could build a basement, if desired. Villa plots are located on the northern side of the island with direct access to the beach and views of Qetaifan Island North's Linear Canal.
To ensure transparency and equal opportunity, Qetaifan will follow the down payment bidding mechanism in a ceremony attended by all clients who have reserved a plot.

The conference also revealed that the Distribution of Sale and Purchase Agreements for phase 1 and 2 plot owners would begin on March 20.
In order to ensure transparency and in accordance with the principle of equal opportunities, Qetaifan Projects will follow the same sales process of phases 1 and 2, which is bidding on the down payment. All those who reserved plots in Qetaifan Island North will be invited to a bidding ceremony that will be held at a hotel. It was announced that reservations will start immediately after the conference ends.
