The Holy Month of Ramadan this year is perhaps one of the most unique many of us have ever experienced.
As we abide by the preventive and precautionary measures in place to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Qatar and continue to stay home, many of the activities that involved gatherings and going outdoors are simply out of question now.
If you’re looking to use your time to enrich your Islamic knowledge or engage in some meaningful activities, have a look at the below online activities that Qatar Foundation will be organizing throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.
"Throughout Ramadan, Qatar Foundation is offering a host of online events and activities for the entire community of Qatar to participate in from their own homes, and we invite people of all ages and cultures to explore them and benefit from them," Khalifa Essa Al Kubaisi, manager of Media Relations and Press Office, QF said.
"While we may be physically apart, Ramadan brings us together through the power of faith and unity, and the events and activities that Qatar Foundation is providing reflect the true spirit of this special time," he added.

Prophetic Biography Series
Through daily videos posted on the Education City Mosque’s social media channels, you can learn about the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from Sheikh Yahya Al Naimi.

Al-Saa’im Al-Sagheer 2020
This program is tailored for children aged 6-12 years. You can document your children performing a good deed and post it on social media as a means of inspiration for others.

Spotlight on Qur'anic Verses
You can increase your knowledge about various verses of the Holy Qur'an as they are addressed in webinars conducted by Dr Abdulrahman Al Harami. The sessions will also explain the connection of these verses to daily life.
The webinars will be held every day at 4.30 throughout the month of Ramadan. Click here for more information regarding these.
Webinars: The Qur’an Their Lives
You can take part in live interviews with distinguished personalities from our community, who belong to various fields. In these sessions, you will learn about the role the Qur’an has played in their lives.
These webinars are held every two days during Ramadan. The timings are from 10 pm to 11 pm.
