According to the safety measures taken by the authorities in the country to combat the coronavirus pandemic, QNB Stars League continue the second round of Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests.

Al Gharafa, Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Qatar SC, Al Khor, and Al Rayyan clubs underwent the tests on Sunday, 28th June 2020 at their hotels, in co-operation with the Ministry of Public Health and Aspetar hospital.

Blood samples were taken for laboratory analysis after they completed a period of 14 days in the hotel, as per the general plan and protocol developed ahead of the resumption of 2019-20 season QNB Stars League.

The testing process is continued according to the schedule and date of entry of each team to the hotel, where they must have completed 14 days before the second round of tests.

QNB Stars League announced the schedule of matches in Weeks 18, 19, and 20 of the 2019-20 season in coordination with the authorities concerned.

The matches will be played at three stadiums which have cooling technology: Education City, Al Janoub, and Jassim bin Hamad.

Meanwhile, health authorities in Qatar continue to implement the highest level of monitoring, detection, and management procedures to deal with the virus, and the public has been advised to follow certain measures to safeguard their health.
