The Round 2 actions of 2019-20 QNB Stars League witnessed plenty of thrill and excitement.

All games were played at the Al Sadd and Al Janoub Stadiums, which has cooling technology, and that helped the players settle into their stride straightway.

Round 2 results:

29 August 2019

Al Wakrah – 2, Qatar SC – 0 at Al Sadd stadium

QSL Qatar

Alejandro Jimena gave own goal on the 39th minute and substitute Ismail Mahmoud doubled their lead in the 69th minute.

Al Duhail – 1, Al Arabi – 1 at Al Janoub stadium

QSL Qatar

Goals were scored by Yousef Msakni from Al Duhail and Aron Gunnarsson from Al Arabi.

30 August 2019

Al Khor – 1, Umm Salal – 0 at Al Janoub stadium

QSL Qatar

The only goal of the game was scored by Ahmed Hammoudan.

Al Rayyan – 0, Al Gharafa – 0 at Al Sadd stadium

It was a draw.

31 August 2019

Al Ahli – 3, Al Sailiya – 0 at Al Janoub stadium

QSL Qatar

Al Ahli defeated Al Sailiya by a 3-0 margin. Abel Hernandez (two) and Abdullah Al Ahrak (one) scored for Al Ahli.

Al Shahania – 1, Al Sadd – 7 at Al Sadd stadium

QSL Qatar

Al Sadd continued from where they left off last week as they beat Al Shahania 7-1. Four goals were scored by Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah. Other three by Boualem Khoukhi, Abdelkarim Hassan, and Hassan Al Haydous.

The fixtures for Round 3 are Al Khor vs Al Ahli (4:55 pm at Al Janoub Stadium) and Umm Salal vs Al Arabi (7:05 pm at Al Sadd Stadium) on September 13, 2019.

Al Shahania vs Al Wakrah (4:55 pm at Al Janoub Stadium) and Qatar SC vs Al Gharafa (7:05 pm at Al Sadd Stadium) on September 14, 2019.

Al Duhail vs Al Rayyan (7:05 pm, Al Janoub Stadium) on September 15, 2019.

Al Sailiya vs Al Sadd (6:55 pm at Al Janoub Stadium) on September 24, 2019.
