QNB Stars League announced the schedule of matches in Weeks 18, 19, and 20 of the 2019-20 season in coordination with the authorities concerned.
The matches will be played at three stadiums which have cooling technology: Education City, Al Janoub, and Jassim bin Hamad.
The first phase of a protocol approved by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), began on Monday, June 8, 2020, according to the general plan and in preparation for the resumption of training and matches of 2019-20 season.
The players, technical and administrative staff underwent a coronavirus (COVID-19) test, which took place at the Ali bin Hamad Al Attiyah Stadium.

After completion of tests, they returned to their homes under self-quarantine until the test results come.
For those the test result comes negative, will be joining the team at designated hotel on June 10, 2020. In case of any positive test result, the individual will undergo procedures of MoPH.

Training will be held at the following pitches:
- Khalifa International Stadium
- The indoor stadium in Aspire
- Training grounds for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup
- Clubs’ training grounds
The protocol was developed to suit three phases and aims to reduce and control the risk of the virus spreading between team members and players, as they return to training and action.
