The summer program of the Qatar National Library (QNL) continues with a range of programs and activities for kids, teens, and adults that center on subjects including skill development, culture, health awareness, the arts, and literature.
From July 23 to August 11, 2022, the library will host the third iteration of its summer camp for kids, which will have eight programs to encourage young people to discover their interests.

A special research series will be presented by the library from August 2 to July 27. This series will include seven sessions on academic writing techniques and presentations, writing literary reviews and doctoral study reviews, conducting research analysis using quantitative and qualitative tools, enhancing research visibility, and the abilities required to write a strong theoretical discussion in research papers.
The library is working with Sidra Medicine to arrange a breastfeeding awareness event on August 4 as well as educational workshops that will feature interviews with nutrition, physiotherapy, and mental health experts from Sidra Medicine as part of its support for World Breastfeeding Week.
On August 16th, the library will welcome Zakaria Al-Hakkar, Senior Information Specialist at Lusail University, to discuss the link between the library, society, and sports, as well as the relevance of sports libraries. The lecture will address the role of worldwide and local sports libraries such as the Singapore Sports Library, the Qatar Olympic Academy's Library, and the Olympic and Sports Museum's Library, as well as the World Cup's potential to engage in community sports initiatives.
On August 20, the library will organize a "musical poetry evening," during which the artist Riyad Bouallam will play music to the sounds of the oud while Dr. Mahrous Borayek and Dr. Omar Hazzaa recite their Arabic poems.
On August 8, 15, 22, and 29, children and young people aged 7 to 14 will have the opportunity to embark on a journey of tales as the library collaborates with the year of culture (Qatar-Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia 2022) for children to enjoy half an hour of interesting Qatari stories and tales.
On August 25th, the library will wrap up its summer programs and events with a demonstration session on assistive technology conducted in collaboration with Mada Assistive Technology Center.
The program aims to promote and develop students', parents', and teachers' skills in using assistive technology accessible in the library and Mada center, as well as to investigate technologies that increase independent reading and daily living skills for persons with disabilities and special needs.
