Giving delivers a sense of fulfillment that no other deed can. During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Muslims and non-Muslims all over the world participate in a number of charitable charity campaigns that provide food, clothing, money, education, and other forms of assistance. One of Islam's five pillars is Zakat, which comprises donating alms. Muslims are required by Islamic law to donate a certain percentage of their income. They provide a portion of their earnings to individuals of the community who are in need.

The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) is celebrating Ramadan 1443 A.H. with a slew of social, medical, and charity activities both inside and beyond Qatar as part of its "Giving Sustains Good" Ramadan Campaign, which includes Ramadan-bound and year-round programs totaling QR 70 million.

In particular, QRCS is implementing Ramadan Iftar, an initiative that provides fresh iftar meals to 70,000 fasting persons over the course of 30 days. Another project, Ramadan Provisions, provides low-income families with vouchers to purchase a variety of food boxes from shopping centers, with a total of 15,620 recipients.

Every year, the Cordiality Iftar project is launched by QRCS to give fresh Iftar meals to hospital patients and their families. During Ramadan, there will be a total of 7,200 target beneficiaries.

The Eid Clothing project will be implemented shortly before Eid-ul-Fitr, with vouchers being distributed to low-income families to purchase new outfits for their children, making 575 youngsters happy during this religious feast.

In 15 nations afflicted by armed conflict or natural calamities, QRCS' foreign representation missions will undertake the Ramadan Iftar project. In Yemen, Syria, Gaza, Jerusalem, the West Bank, Somalia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Jordan, Sudan, Mali, Albania, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia, food boxes will be provided to 39,500 families, or around 200,000 refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and destitute people.

A Zakat-ul-Fitr scheme will be conducted in Yemen, Afghanistan, and Syria, just as it was in Qatar. Food aid will be delivered to 76,700 people within the Sharia-compliant timeframe using cash earned as Zakat-ul-Fitr. In addition, 2,800 children's families in Yemen and Syria would be given coupons to shop for new garments for Eid.
