Qatar residents can expect a drop in temperature and some stable weather over the weekend, says Qatar Met department (QMD).
Temperatures will be in the mid-30s due to easterly winds, QMD said in a tweet on Thursday.

Different parts of the country have experienced temperatures of 40ºC and above over the past few days.
The maximum temperature recorded on Thursday was 41ºC in Turayna (southern Qatar) and 39ºC in Doha and other places, according to local daily Gulf Times.
Torrid daytime conditions are expected on Friday and the maximum temperature is likely to drop marginally to 39ºC in Mesaieed, Wakrah and Al Khor, and 37ºC in Doha.
